Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U's High Score Not Enough to Secure Win Against Tigers Bleu

Scorekeepers were kept busy today during a high-scoring contest between Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U and Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U where Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U lost 9-6.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U lost despite out-hitting Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U nine to eight.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U got things started in the first inning. Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U scored one run when Sotiri Kakaroubas doubled.


After Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U scored one run in the top of the fifth, Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U answered with one of their own. Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U scored when Taylor Labrie grounded out, scoring one run. Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U then answered when George Triantafillou grounded out, scoring one run.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U pulled away for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third Liam Labrom drew a walk, scoring one run, Charles Larose singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs, Brett Goldenberg doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, and Labrie singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.


William Valade earned the win for Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U. Valade lasted two and a third innings, allowing nine hits and five runs while striking out three and walking one. Alexandre Caron threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.


Gabriel Couture took the loss for Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U. The righty allowed six hits and seven runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U totaled nine hits. William Leduc and Triantafillou each racked up multiple hits for Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U. Triantafillou and Leduc each collected two hits to lead Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 18U.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U tallied eight hits on the day. Larose and Zakary Lejeune each managed multiple hits for Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U. Lejeune led Lac St-Louis Tigers Bleu 18U with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 11 stolen bases.
